Delia Rainey is a writer, musician, and educator living in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her MFA in nonfiction from Columbia College Chicago in 2021 and her BA in English from the University of Missouri in 2015. She plays music in the band Dubb Nubb and her solo project dee bird and has been playing shows and touring since she was a teenager. Her writing has been published in DIAGRAM, Brink, new_sinews, Peach Mag, and many others. She is the author of CRUMBBOOK (Bottlecap Press / Bottlecap Features 2021), Private Again (Ghost City Press micro chapbook series, 2018), and an ambient-poetry album The Blue and Red Gummy Worm (Grownup Music, 2018). Delia writes freelance album reviews and other music writing, book reviews, and sometimes posts her own writing on her substack archival tendencies. She is a professional writing tutor at St. Louis Community College and teaches nonfiction workshops through St. Louis County Library. She tweets often.
